In much of the world, connectivity is a sometimes-thing. A health worker in a rural district, a field agent registering farmers, a teller in an agent kiosk — none of them can assume the network will be there when they tap 'submit'.
The trap of the happy path
Most software is built and demoed on fast, reliable networks. It looks great. Then it meets the field, and the cracks appear: lost submissions, duplicate records, frustrated users who stop trusting the tool.
Offline-first flips the default. The device is the source of truth until it can sync. Conflict resolution, idempotent writes and local-first storage stop being afterthoughts and become the foundation.
If your system only works when the network does, you've built a demo, not a product.
What we do differently
We design the sync model before the screens. We test on throttled and airplane-mode devices. And we measure data quality in production, because that's the metric that actually matters to the people relying on the system.
Let's build something that lasts.
Tell us about the system you need — and the team you want running it. We'll show you what's possible.
